With over 25 years as an occupational therapist, I’ve had the privilege of working across nearly every setting in the field, ranging from hospitals and inpatient rehab to outpatient clinics and, most extensively, home health care.  For the past two decades, I’ve specialized in treating falls and balance issues, cardiac conditions, neuromuscular disorders, lymphedema, and musculoskeletal injuries.  Throughout my career, one thing has remained constant: my passion for providing meaningful, one-on-one care that truly helps patients regain their independence and quality of life.

Unfortunately, due to significant changes in the healthcare system, delivering that level of care has become increasingly difficult. In outpatient settings, therapists are often forced to juggle multiple patients at once, sometimes three to four in a single hour, leaving the majority of hands-on care to aides. In home health, insurance cuts have led to strict visit limitations and care being fragmented across multiple disciplines, making it nearly impossible to deliver the consistent, skilled therapy many patients need to fully recover. That’s why I founded ATX Total Therapy: to return to what matters most personalized, high-quality care delivered directly to you. This model allows me to treat patients the way I would want to be treated with time, attention, and expertise that respects each individual’s unique needs and goals.
